Fun Facts

I love both playing and watching sports. I played baseball and wrestled throughout high school. I also closely follow the MLB, NFL, NBA, and College Football. I am a diehard fan of the Packers, Brewers, Bucks, Badgers, and the Arizona State Sun Devils.

About Me

I was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Currently, I am a Freshman majoring in economics at the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. I earned a GPA of 3.58 in this past (and my first) semester. I am also minoring in Civic and Economic Thought and Leadership. I hope to go on to law school or work as an economic advisor after I graduate.

Experience

I was a member of the National Honors Society in high school, finishing with a GPA of 4.10. I took and passed Algebra II, Precalculus, AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, and Linear Algebra with good grades. In high school, I was also a part of a mentorship program that worked with the local middle school. I have also worked as a camp counsellor for the past 2 summers, which has helped me to realize the importance of making an impact on the next generation.

Approach

Since I was young, I enjoyed learning and doing math. As I gradually got ahead of my classmates (taking Algebra in 7th grade), I came to realize that I also enjoyed teaching my friends and helping them with their work. Since then, I have taken much time to sit down with my friends and classmates and explain different concepts to them. As a tutor, I will not only teach the content and study skills my students need but also teach them in a way that works for them.
