About Me

I’m a third-year 2nd-grade bilingual teacher in a small town in Texas. I have been in the education field for 6 years total. It has always been a passion of mine to teach. Being fluent in Spanish has opened many opportunities for me as well. I LOVE to travel to Colombia any chance I get, I love to read a good book, work out and of course, spend time with my parents.

Approach

My passion for the field of education came from my 4th-grade teacher. I first came to the United States in 4th grade, I was the little girl who came from a country where everyone spelt incorrectly, not knowing how to read, write, or communicate in English. Throughout my 4th grade year, my teacher dedicated me so much time and patience when it came to learning English, I remember very vividly when I read to him my first book in English, “The Three Little Pigs” The excitement not only in my face as Icon
