Fun Facts

Some fun facts about me are that I love playing video games, and have been playing them since I was just five years old! I also played for the Berlin Philharmonic growing up and I lived in Germany for quite a while!

About Me

I am 23 years old and a student at both Dallas College and Texas Tech University! I have a little chihuahua named Star ✨ who’s surprisingly more into sleeping than barking. I also have a pet bearded dragon named Gizmo 🦎.

Experience

I have been a tutor at Dallas College for about a year and have taught a variety of subjects. These include History, Philosophy, English, Biology 1, A&P1 and A&P2. Usually, the tasks range from teaching a segment of a unit to the entire unit. These tasks also include helping with essays and projects.

Approach

I have been in my fair share of classrooms and one thing I enjoy is seeing a professor/tutor who’s genuinely in love with what they are teaching. See that is infectious and I believe in teaching not just from a book or PowerPoint but from a place of genuine love and care. Students oftentimes will learn more when they see you taking your time, using analogies, and thoroughly explaining the tiniest of details to them.
