One thing you will learn about me is that I am an absolute animal lover. I have 13 pets and take care of any animal who stumbles by my front door. I am also full of interesting animal facts!

About Me

I hold two degrees in the education field; one for interdisciplinary studies for early childhood that came with a minor in education/texas/dallas">special education, and one for advanced studies in education/texas/dallas">special education. Working with individuals with disabilities is my true passion in life, and I firmly believe that everyone can learn. I have experience working with students pre-k through 12th grade, as well as working with adult students who are in 18 and up programs. My areas is experience are apron with students with ADHD, Autism, preverbal students who aren't speaking yet, and students with severe and profound intellectual disabilities. I have very specialized training in alternate communication strategies, behaviour interventions, and modified curriculums. Let me work with you and your family to give all students a fair chance!

Experience

I have been tutoring for many years with multiple different ages and types of students. I have worked with elementary, middle, high school and college-age students ranging from needing intensive support to just needing study skills or homework assistance.

Approach

My approach includes a lot of trial and error to see what works for each student, getting good baseline data on the student's skills, and setting goals that we track and monitor over time.
