I can’t play golf on a course… but I will win every time at top golf! My friends and I will go fairly often to both and yet every time, I seem to be the “pro” at top golf only!

About Me

I’m a recent college graduate from Hardin-Simmons University. I received my bachelor’s degree in English and plan to attend law school within the next year! While at school, I was heavily involved in Student Government all 4 years and was elected as Student Body President my senior year. Additionally, I worked as a tutor for 2 years and created my organization on campus. In my spare time, I enjoy reading classic books and I’m currently reading Dante Alighieri’s Inferno for fun (as any English major would) but I also tend to end up at the mall… you can never go wrong with a good shopping spree!

Experience

As a writing tutor for my university’s writing centre, I was a part of many student lives that needed writing assistance. Whether it be a simple overview of editing for grammatical errors or helping construct an entire report for a final exam, I was involved in it all. For the almost 2 years that I was a tutor, I saw papers that ranged from freshmen in college to those in their master’s programs coming to get a second set of eyes on their work. Approach

Growing up I struggled with undiagnosed ADD and it affected me when it came to reading and writing. Ironically, I hated reading and writing throughout elementary, middle, and high school. I could never comprehend what I was reading or figure out the rules of English. Having gone to college and becoming passionate about Student Government, I found myself looking towards law school, which then sent me down the road of becoming an English major. I worked with professors who helped me find my passion
