About Me

Hi there! I’m a writer and comedian based in Chicago, IL, with a passion for education and creativity. My journey has taken me through writing for prominent shows like RuPaul's Drag Race, South Side, and American Auto, as well as performing with the Second City National Touring Company. I believe in the transformative power of comedy and storytelling, which I bring into my tutoring sessions to make learning enjoyable and engaging.

Experience

As a member of the Second City National Touring Company, I had the wonderful opportunity to teach sketch writing and improvisation to theatre students in colleges across the country.

My approach blends positive reinforcement with a focus on each student's natural interests. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel confident to explore and express themselves. With a background in improvisation and comedy writing, I have a strong affinity for collaboration and tend to lead from that perspective. I want my students to be active participants in their learning, helping to shape the curriculum alongside me.
