I have a passion for all kinds of literature and spend most of my free time reading and writing. I lived in Atlanta, Georgia my entire life and only moved to Philadelphia recently. Whenever I have a free day I love to drive out of the city and explore the state parks.

About Me

I am a recent graduate from Georgia State University’s Honors College with a degree in English. I concentrated on literary studies and received a major GPA of 3.94 as well as an overall GPA of 3.83. With the college credits I earned while still in High School I was able to graduate from GSU an entire year early. I am in the process of applying to graduate programs for a Master’s degree in literary studies and plan to pursue a PhD.

Experience

Throughout high school, I worked on and off as a reading and math tutor. During the pandemic,c I was a nanny for two Elementary School students and supplemented their online learning with 1 on 1 tutoring in all of their subjects. During college, I worked as a freelance editor for students both within and without my major.

Approach

My approach to tutoring is rooted in my love of reading and writing. They have always been more than just academic pursuits to me; they are a source of joy and self-expression. My priority is always creating a supportive and engaging environment where students can explore their voices and ideas. Through tutoring, I seek to show reading and writing to be both creative and intellectual outlets. My ultimate goal is to help students develop confidence in their abilities as I believe confi
