About Me

One of my great passions is connecting with people and making them feel seen and heard. My battle with ADHD and OCD has given me valuable perspective and empathy for people who are struggling in life and a great desire to stand beside them.

I have bachelor’s degrees in journalism and psychology. I am a private piano teacher in the Katy, TX area. Before teaching, I worked as a development writer for five years and as a newspaper writer and editor for six years.

Experience

I have bachelor’s degrees in journalism and psychology. I have worked for over a decade in writing and editing. In addition, I have been teaching piano for three years and have about 20 students ages 7-14.

Approach

I am passionate about connecting with people and truly making them feel valued. I believe tutoring should be about more than just learning facts. It’s also about developing confidence, discipline, and self-respect.
