I love pets, including a bearded dragon and a bird. You can likely find me at a baseball game or home watching a movie with family. I’m also a cake baker and a crafter!

About Me

I have been a nanny for a few years and am getting my certificate in preschool at Liberty University. I am passionate about teaching and helping students learn and grow!

Experience

As a principal list student in school, I had the opportunity to be a homework coach to younger grades. I also tutored students in middle and elementary school grades. As a babysitter, I would help the kids with their homework as well.

Approach

As a tutor, I focus on the individual needs of the student. This includes being an active listener, taking time to understand the student's struggles and goals, and personalising learning by tailoring teaching methods to the student's strengths and weaknesses. In addition, it is important to me for the student to be encouraged by celebrating their success, big or small, to build their confidence and motivate them to keep on going!
