About Me

I am currently enrolled at OU for their MAT program to get my bachelor's/master's in secondary education with Social Studies with History for educators.

Experience

I have taken all of the History classes needed for my Bachelor's degree and have started the ones needed for my master's. I also used to coach Motorcycle Safety classes for the State of Michigan where I had a 90% pass rate for my students. As well I also used to be a chef. As a chef I would lead my team to success every night by ensuring they were properly trained on how to prepare the line and execute dishes when orders would be sent to the kitchen.

Approach

I struggled in high school, but History and Social Studies were the classes that I enjoyed and the best in growing up. I feel like history is extremely important not only because it’s important to know what happened in the past to avoid repeating those mistakes in the future. I also believe it is a good tool for laying the groundwork for note taking, research, and paper writing for other classes.
