Fun Facts

I danced for 25 years and still dabble in it! I love singing, reading historical fiction, and being with friends and family. So far, I've visited four European countries: Italy, France, Portugal, and Iceland.

About Me

I'm a stay-at-home mom who loves hanging out with my busy toddler, managing my house, and enjoying country living! I earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Holy Cross College and was on the president's list during my time there. I aim to use what I learned in school to help students succeed in their studies!

Experience

In college, I was a tutor in the writing centre and, after graduation, offered private tutoring lessons. I also graded papers for middle school English classes for an online homeschooling platform. As a substitute teacher in K-12 classrooms, I helped students with writing assignments, reading assignments, and more.

Approach

I challenge students one concept at a time and don't move on until they understand. If an idea is difficult for them, I approach it from different angles to find the best approach. Using positive reinforcement is a must!
