About Me
I am a Secondary Language Arts Education major at TCU.
I have been teaching English my whole life, and it is truly my passion.
When I graduate from TCU, I hope to become a full-time English teacher in Fort Worth ISD.
In the meantime, I am always looking for ways to connect with and support students

-Served as a Peer Tutor at The King's Academy College Preparatory School
-Served as a Sylvan Learning Center reading and writing tutor for grades K-12

Approach
In my experience, the mental health of my students has always been positively correlated with their academic performance. For this reason, while my pedagogical methods do focus on building up students' scholarly skills (using techniques such as multimedia lesson planning, gamified learning, and mnemonics), I also take the time to work on improving my clients' 1) self-esteem 2) self-efficacy 3) personal motivation and 4) school-life balance.
