About Me

I'm a Human Biology major with a Psychology minor at UC Merced. I am passionate about research, microbiology, psychology, and helping others understand science. I have hands-on experience in laboratory techniques, animal husbandry, and mentorship, and I’m always looking for new opportunities to grow and make a difference.

Experience

I worked as a Learning Assistant, where I supported students during lectures and discussions by breaking down complex biology concepts into simple, relatable ideas. I loved helping others build confidence in their understanding and always aimed to create a supportive, judgment-free environment.

Approach

My approach to tutoring is all about patience, encouragement, and making learning feel less overwhelming. I like to ask guiding questions, use real-life examples, and adjust my explanations based on how each student learns best. Most importantly, I try to create a space where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes—it’s all part of the process!
