Fun Facts

I was born and raised in the Phoenix, AZ desert and have encountered my fair share of rattlesnakes, tarantulas, and scorpions (yes, they are as scary as they look)! I have a love for the outdoors and all things not scorpion-related, including hiking, kayaking, rock-climbing, camping, and horseback riding.

About Me

I am a recent graduate of Santa Clara University with my BA in Religious Studies and BS in Anthropology. I've worked on everything from Archaeological digs in Central California to university-wide projects on climate change on the California coast, and I love sharing my passion for writing and research with students.

Experience

As a volunteer with Santa Clara University's Community Action Program, I have tutored middle school students in a wide variety of subjects, including English, History, Social Studies, Math, and Reading Comprehension.

Approach

As a child, I was lucky enough to be pushed to take honours courses and advanced classes. Though it's exciting to learn hard material, I want to be able to support all students in meeting their full academic potential by tackling difficult subjects together, and I'm confident that every student can succeed with the right skills and support network.
