About Me

I’m a retired Pre-K teacher with over 30 years of classroom experience. I hold a degree in Psychology with an emphasis on Early Childhood Development. More recently, I’ve enjoyed working as an online ESL tutor, helping young learners grow their English skills with patience, encouragement, and a bit of fun along the way.

Experience

I have experience teaching in a Pre-K classroom, as well as teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) online. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with children ranging in age from 5 to 15, which has helped me develop a flexible, compassionate, and developmentally-appropriate teaching style

Approach

School wasn’t always easy for me growing up, but I was determined to persevere, and that drive helped me achieve my college degree. My struggles have shaped me into a patient and understanding teacher, someone who can empathise with students facing their challenges and support them with compassion and resilience.
