One of my passions is that I adore reading. Whenever I get free time, I go to the local library to check out books. I even purchase them online to start my own library.

About Me

I am a married mom of six. Children are my life. Every chance I get, I look to volunteer at the school, in the community and at church. Keeping them busy doing some constructive helps to motivate them to believe in themselves while helping others. Arts and crafts were my first love before reading, and I continue that hobby with my children. This semester, I plan to go back to my classes studying early childhood education at Pearl River Community College. I am currently taking online classes in the justice system, and I want to do as much as I can online since I am a stay-at-home mom.

Experience

With natural resources like Khan Academy, ABC Mouse, YouTube, workbooks and the local library, I homeschooled five of my children last year. As a high school student, I also tutored elementary kids after school and at church. I loved it and would love to continue being of help to children in need.

Approach

As a child, I noticed a lot of my peers struggled to read and write. Although I didn't struggle with them, I didn't want any other child to feel ashamed or embarrassed because they hadn't yet mastered those skills. God and an education are my motto; I preach to my kids daily. If I could learn something new daily, I could teach something new daily. I will apply a positive attitude and safe play to open up for the students with no judgement.
