Fun Facts

My favorite movie directors are Spike Lee and Ryan Coogler, as their movies are so cinematic and enjoyable. I also own 120 books, and I would love to own over 500 as I get older, so I can supply a school, library, or university with my notes regarding literature in hopes that the next generation has access to our literary forefathers and mothers. Although I cannot sing at all, I enjoy going to karaoke with my friends frequently.

About Me

I am a Temple University English Literature and Philosophy graduate, summa cum laude. I plan to attend graduate school for a Master's and potentially a PhD in English Literature, Creative Writing, and African American Studies. I would love to be a professor in the future!

Experience

I've been a tutor at Temple University for three years, specializing in ESL Writing, spanning undergraduate and graduate writing, science writing, citation and style writing, creative writing, and reading comprehension. I have also been a publishing, editorial, and writing intern for several non-profit establishments within the tri-state area. Working for FrogTutoring allows ensuring everyone has access to the magic literature, writing, and reading can provide!

Approach

Everything is easy if you have someone to walk you through it. I believe we can figure things out together with guided questioning and sincere conversation! A little encouragement goes a very long way; eventually, you'll be able to guide yourself.
