Fun Facts

People are often surprised when they learn that I love playing disc golf and that I'm a huge comic book and anime enthusiast. I've been collecting comics since I was five years old, and watching anime for over a decade. First superhero that "hooked" me: The Flash. First anime that "hooked" me: Attack on Titan.

About Me

I have bachelor degrees in English and Psychology and a Masters degree in Social Work. I currently teach at Tarleton State University as an Adjunct Professor and I LOVE teaching. I'm a husband, father, and grandfather.

Experience

Along with 50+ years of life experience where I have mentored many people, I have two bachelor's degrees and a Master's degree. Combined with my current teaching job at Tarleton State University as an Adjunct Professor, I have the expertise to help people struggling with English, Language Arts, and Writing.

Approach

In school, I was often the target of bullying, and my grades began to drop while I was in Middle School. Luckily, I had a couple of caring, enthusiastic teachers who took an interest in me and helped build up my self-esteem both personally and scholastically. I very much want to be the difference in someone’s life that they were in mine.
