About Me

Hello! I’m Edward, an experienced Writing Tutor, Academic Paper Reviewer, and English Education Specialist with a passion for helping students unlock their full potential. With a Master’s degree in English and over 15 years of experience in education, I’ve worked with students from middle school to graduate school, guiding them to strengthen their writing, improve their English skills, and build academic confidence.

Throughout my career, I’ve conducted over 1,000 one-on-one tutoring sessions, reviewed countless academic papers, and led engaging writing workshops that make learning both effective and enjoyable. I specialise in everything from essay writing and research papers to grammar, reading comprehension, and academic formatting in MLA, APA, and Chicago styles.

Experience

I’ve worked as a Writing Tutor at houston">the houston">University of Houston Writing Center, where I conducted one-on-one sessions, reviewed essays and research papers, and led workshops on topics like thesis development and academic integrity. Before that, I served as an Academic Paper Reviewer for the Texas Research Institute, providing professional feedback on academic manuscripts in the humanities, social sciences, and education. I also spent several years as a High School English Teacher.

I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor each tutoring session to fit the individual’s needs, goals, and learning style. My approach focuses on building strong writing and English skills by breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps.
