About Me

I am a passionate educator with over a decade of experience helping students of all ages develop confidence and competence in their writing, reading, and language skills. With a Master’s in English and a background in Linguistics, I bring both academic expertise and a deep appreciation for the unique ways students learn. Whether I’m working with a high school student writing their first essay or an adult learner refining their professional writing, I take pride in meeting each student where they are and guiding them toward clear, meaningful progress.

Experience

I began my career teaching English in the classroom and have since worked as a university writing centre tutor at houston">the houston">University of Houston Writing Centre and as an online writing tutor for StudyPoint. As a writing centre tutor, I guided college students through the intricacies of academic writing—from brainstorming and organising ideas to synthesising information and polishing final drafts. As an online writing tutor at StudyPoint, I delivered personalised instruction.

I approach teaching with the understanding that every learner has unique needs and strengths. My tutoring philosophy centers on patience, personalization, and progress.
