About Me

I have recently obtained my Master's in Sociology from California State University, Los Angeles. During my time there, I was honored with multiple awards, including the Special Recognition in Graduate Studies from the College of Natural and Social Sciences, a Service to the Department Award, and a Service to the Community Award from the Department of Sociology.

Experience

For two years, I held roles as both a writing tutor and a teaching assistant for a range of undergraduate courses.

Approach

As someone who is well-versed in many different teaching and tutoring styles, I understand the importance of meeting each student where they are and shifting into an approach that works for them. I believe that affirming a student's voice, interests, and inclinations is what fosters positive growth!
