Fun Facts

One fun fact about me is that I love video games! My favorites are Subnautica, Diablo 4, and Minecraft. I have a serious passion for the applied sciences, specifically chemistry! I have worked in multiple research labs, including organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, and biochemical research.

About Me

I am a junior at Texas State University studying Biochemistry. I have been on the Dean's list for 1 year. I am in a research lab for inorganic and organic treatments of cancers, and I plan on going to Pharmacy School once I graduate. My ultimate goal is to become a pharmacist!

Experience

As a STEM major, I frequently tutor my peers and friends across a range of subjects, including biology, chemistry, and math. This informal experience has strengthened my ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt my approach based on different learning styles. I genuinely enjoy helping others understand challenging material and take pride in seeing their confidence grow. Tutoring allows me to share my passion for science while supporting students in reaching their full potential.

Approach

My approach to tutoring is rooted in empathy and collaboration. Tutoring has helped me through subjects I found difficult, so I understand how valuable patient, peer-based guidance can be. I aim to create a supportive and approachable environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring concepts at their own pace. I believe learning alongside someone who understands your struggles can make a huge difference, and I strive to be that kind of resource for others.
