Fun Facts
I've tried 6 different sports when I was growing up! I've also learned 5 different languages at some point in my life!
About Me
I just finished my undergraduate degree in Medical Science with a minor in Deaf Studies. I am an incoming first-year student at Boston University's School of Medicine. I'm an avid reader, and am always looking for recommendations :)
Experience
I have experience as a Peer Tutor at Boston University's Educational Resource Center, where I taught one-on-one and group sessions both in person and online. I also have a strong background in math and science, as I've completed up to AP Calculus BC in high school, and have taken general chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, cell biology, human physiology, genetics, and other similar science courses as a college student.
Approach
Coming into college, I faced my fair share of academic struggles. These experiences allowed me to learn how to work through academic issues and how to experiment with many different approaches to learning. I am passionate about helping other students who are facing similar struggles, whether they are in elementary, middle, or high school. I focus on adapting my tutoring sessions to fit each student's unique personality and learning style.
