Experience

I am an experienced tutor for children of all ages. I have spent a couple of years supporting two girls on the autism spectrum with their daily school work, and I am grateful to see them surpass their curriculum goals. I would observe what was expected of me, designing some customized classwork, teaching them techniques to succeed across all subjects and personal growth.

Approach

I have always been a student who seemed to learn in many varied ways, but I needed to understand the material to accomplish my work. My mom was a college professor and would always explain to me what I couldn't grasp in school, and I could excel because of her. Later, when I would babysit and help the children with their homework, I learned that I can teach in a way that fosters understanding in students in personalized ways.
