I have had the unique opportunity to teach in three different countries, which has given me a deep understanding of diverse educational systems, cultural perspectives, and communication styles. For over 12 years, I lived and worked outside of the United States, where I served in both teaching and writing roles. This international experience has not only broadened my worldview but also enhanced my adaptability, cultural sensitivity, and ability to connect with students and audiences.

About Me

I am a dedicated teacher and professional writer with over 15 years of experience in both education and the writing industry. My writing background includes extensive work in copywriting and content writing across a wide range of formats and industries, allowing me to craft compelling, purpose-driven material tailored to diverse audiences. In parallel, I have been teaching since 2011, working with students of all ages and abilities—from early learners to adult professionals—across various educational settings.

Experience

I have over 16 years of experience teaching students of all ages, with a focus on ESL and creative writing. I've taught in diverse settings, helping learners develop language skills and express themselves confidently through writing.

Approach

A good approach for me as an English Language Arts teacher involves balancing strong instructional strategies with a deep understanding of my students’ needs and how to keep them engaged. I focus on the four key domains of ELA: reading, writing, speaking and listening, and language.
