Fun Facts
I used to be into Korean things! I also enjoy going out and seeing the world such as New York. I am an only child. I have a daughter who is school aged and keeps me on my toes.
About Me
I have been teaching since 2010. I went to Morgan State University for elementary education and American Public University for curriculum and instruction for elementary teachers. I still aspire to be an administrator one day. I hope to, in the future, still work with students, but not just in a classroom setting.
Experience
Several years in a school in low-income households, mostly in 3rd and 5th grade classrooms. I have taught reading and math for those grades. I have also substituted in elementary, middle, and high schools in all sorts of classes ranging from music to family and consumer sciences. Working for Frog Tutoring gives me the opportunity to impact even more lives of students that need help!
Approach
I like to get to know your child and then go from there to teach them the skills needed to succeed in the future. I have known since the age of 6 that teaching was what I wanted to do and was re-established when 8th grade came around. I hope to bring learning, positivity, and connections to my sessions. And instead of giving students answers, I feel it is my responsibility to not only teach them the content, but study skills that will help them be successful in all classes!
