I am a physics major at the University of Texas, and I intend to get a PhD in condensed matter physics. I write music, collect model trains, and can code in Python.

Experience

It has been a common occurrence in my life that I help my friends and family with school. I enjoy helping people feel the same love of learning that I do, and I understand as a college student that success in school is all about organization, drive, and goal setting.

Approach

I believe that everyone has the potential to succeed academically with organization and a plan for success. I believe in addressing any gaps in prerequisite understanding before teaching any new topics. The "big picture" is introduced first with conceptual ideas, then the details and applications, and then the big picture is reintroduced so that the student sees the original ideas in a new light after mastering every aspect of the topic.
