I am an avid reader of poetry and two of my favorite poets are Mary Oliver and Sylvia Plath. I highly recommend The Bell Jar (Plath) and Devotions (Oliver)!

About Me

I am a recent graduate from Temple University, where I studied anthropology and history. After graduation, I obtained several teaching clearances and course certificates and began teaching at various schools for substitute teaching, lead teaching, education/pennsylvania/philadelphia">special education, ESY, and aiding in extra support classrooms. Currently, I am a lead teacher at a preschool in Newtown.

Experience

Through my experience at different schools, I was able to one-on-one tutor various students who wanted extra learning support in subjects such as elementary-level reading/writing, history, and science. I have also done informal tutoring for preschool-age children and middle schoolers in general education.

Approach

My hands-on approach encourages students to unlock their inner potential through informational texts and materials, step-by-step teaching practices, and constant patience and support with every student.
