Fun Facts

I can speak 3 different languages: English, Bengali, and Hindi! I have lived on 3 different continents in 3 different countries! I am a huge fan of Formula 1, and on the weekends, you'll find me watching the races.

About Me

I went to undergrad at the pittsburgh">University of Pittsburgh, where I majored in Biological Sciences, and I am now completing a master's at Boston University in medical sciences. I hope to attend medical school in the future and will be applying this summer!

Experience

I have been a volunteer tutor at different clubs at the pittsburgh">University of Pittsburgh. Two of these clubs were called Breakthrough Pittsburgh and Keep It Real Pittsburgh. I tutored underserved communities of Pittsburgh in Science and Math with students from elementary to high school.

Approach

I struggled with teachers and professors lecturing and reading off slides, but the tutors I have had in the past made learning much more enjoyable as they had approached the material in a more creative way, which helped it stick. I have learned to do the same things by engaging the students more and making them think more critically about the material while making the learning fun as well!
