I am an avid sports watcher. I watch NHL, NFL, & pro tennis. I have lived in and been to many states. But I love California. I almost became a nun.

About Me

I transferred to Benedictine College my Jr year, majoring in History with a Minor in English. I obtained 35 units of postgraduate work at Fresno State University in History. I came late to the teaching game, but I love it.

Experience

I first subbed, then I spent 2 years at a middle school teaching English. I then moved on to teaching 18 -24 year olds different subjects, but mainly history, Civics, economics, and English reading, writing, and literature for 15 years. The past year and a half, I've spent tutoring P.E. and nutrition to K-6. I must say I enjoy the older kids better because I feel like I can relate to them better.

Approach

I always knew I'd be a history teacher because my dad was a history teacher, and I always admired him greatly. I love being able to instil a love for learning in any age group I work with.
