Fun Facts

I love anything STEM, but I also love the arts, specifically choir! I've been singing all of my life and have been doing choir for more than 5 years! I love to play sports like basketball and ping pong, and I enjoy trying new things whenever I can. Right now, I am learning how to cook delicious food and play the guitar, so you'll always find me learning something new in my free time.

About Me

I am an upcoming sophomore majoring in Chemistry Honors at the University of Texas at Austin. I am a Health Science Scholar on the pre-med track, and I plan to attend medical school after I graduate.

Experience

I have been helping my fellow classmates and friends succeed in their STEM classes for majority of my life, and decided to continue this passion of teaching of mine through volunteering as a tutor for Garza High School in Austin, TX. Furthermore, I am working towards earning a teaching certificate in the composite sciences at the University of Texas at Austin to continue my love for teaching and helping others.

Approach

I've made countless mistakes and failures in my life, but I have learned so much from my failures that it has allowed me to succeed in the end and go to college. For me, the best part about teaching is getting to see the students feel confident about themselves and how they perform over time, as the best approach to learning is getting to see yourself grow and become independent.
