Fun Facts

One fun fact about me is that I have always been extremely passionate about helping and advocating for shelter animals. I've gotten the opportunity to work at the Arizona Humane Society as a camp counselor and at the Love Pup Foundation as a Canine Care Assistant.

About Me

I am a sophomore in Justice Studies majoring at Arizona State University in Barrett, the Honors College. I graduated from high school Summa Cum Laude with an IB diploma and was vice president of Mock Trial and National Honor Society treasurer.

Experience

As an IB diploma student, in my senior year of high school, I was required to tutor biology students weekly in person and on Microsoft Teams. Throughout high school, I also volunteered at St. Vincent De Paul and tutored elementary to middle school students in their after-school program. In terms of relative teaching experience, I was a camp counselor at the Arizona Humane Society and helped younger students read and write.

Approach

Throughout most of my middle and elementary school education, I always felt like I was never good enough or could compare to my peers' intelligence levels. It was through motivating tutors and teachers that I finally realized that sometimes you just need an additional boost or someone to help you realize you are good enough and worthy of the education your peers are receiving.
