Fun Facts

One passion people quickly learn about me is that I love tabletop roleplaying games! When I’m not tutoring or studying, you’ll likely find me building imaginative worlds, analyzing game narratives, or helping others learn through creative play. I also love video games and have given public presentations on media representation in them.

About Me

I am a college student majoring in Communication with a strong academic background in math, public speaking, and digital literacy. I’ve presented my research at academic showcases and have experience tutoring at the college level in Communication Theory. My long-term goal is to become a professor and researcher focused on accessibility, education, and media studies

Experience

I’ve been tutoring students in math since 2019, including K-7 Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and Geometry. I’ve also served as a peer tutor in college-level Communication courses and have helped students improve their writing, study skills, and academic confidence. I’m experienced with both in-person and online tutoring and love helping students discover new ways to understand complex topics.

Approach

My approach to tutoring is patient, adaptable, and student-centred. I believe every learner has unique strengths, and I work to build confidence while addressing areas of difficulty. Whether we’re working on math problems or public speaking prep, I prioritise clarity, encouragement, and real-world connections to help students succeed inside and outside the classroom.
