I am a passionate and experienced Math tutor with over eight years of experience helping students build confidence and succeed in their math courses. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington, and I have a strong foundation in subjects ranging from Algebra to Calculus and beyond.

Experience

I have 8+ years of tutoring experience at a community college and have done some work as a substitute teacher at the middle school and high school levels.

Approach

I tailor my tutoring approach to meet each student's unique needs and learning style. My goal is not just to help students solve problems, but to help them truly understand the material, develop strong study habits, and build lasting self-confidence.

I like to begin by understanding where the student currently stands by asking what they know, what they’re unsure of, and how they approach problems. From there, I built a customised path forward, reinforcing their foundation.
