Fun Facts

I love to walk on the beach. I live close to a beach, so I spend a lot of time walking along the shore, especially at night. Sometimes, I go to watch the sunset with family and friends. I am the oldest of three, and I love to travel! My life dream is to live in Australia and spend my days lying in the sun with the kangaroos!

About Me

I just finished my sophomore year at Wesleyan University, double majoring in Chemistry and Film Studies. When I graduate, I want to pursue my Master's and PhD in Chemistry. My overarching career goal is to become a chemistry professor at my alma mater and conduct my scientific research.

Experience

In my sophomore year, I was responsible for office hours the size of a medium class as well as individual and group tutoring in Introductory Chemistry at Wesleyan University. I worked with students from various academic and social backgrounds, and I found immeasurable joy working with students and seeing them succeed. I hope that Frog Tutoring can extend these opportunities to positively impact more people.

Approach

Growing up, I found that I was able to be most successful when I felt safe and comfortable to learn and grow. I found comfort in my first-year chemistry professor at college, who whisked me away into the world of mentoring and teaching. As a tutor, I hope to develop a safe and comfortable learning environment where students will be challenged to do the best they can by learning and understanding. I will not spoon-feed answers, but instead teach how to be the best student possible!
