Fun Facts
I find joy in exploring the fascinating world of Roman numerals by designing interactive and engaging games that make learning both fun and immersive. By incorporating creative challenges, puzzles, and hands-on activities, I transform numerical concepts into dynamic experiences that encourage curiosity and critical thinking.
About Me
I have been a proud member of Alpha Chi, the National College Honor Society, since 2024, reflecting my dedication to academic excellence and intellectual achievement. In November 2024, I earned my master’s degree in Mental Health and Wellness, furthering my expertise in supporting individuals' well-being. I am also the proud mother of two college students—one attending Widener University and the other studying at Montpellier Business School in Montpellier, France.
Experience
I have extensive clinical experience working with children from kindergarten through 8th grade, offering support in both educational and healthcare settings. Additionally, I completed a one-year apprenticeship focused on teaching the impact of climate change. I developed engaging lessons that foster curiosity and an understanding. Through hands-on activities and interactive learning approaches, I encouraged students to explore the connection between human impact and the environment.
Approach
As a child, I struggled with math, finding it difficult to grasp and often frustrating. However, when I reached community college, everything finally started to make sense. This turning point was largely due to my professor, whose patience, explanations, and dynamic teaching approach transformed math from an intimidating subject into one that was accessible and enjoyable. Their ability to break down complex concepts and create an engaging learning environment is my style of teaching.
