About Me

I am a class of '25 graduate of Whitman College with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. I graduated with honors (summa cum laude) and I am a member of Phi Beta Kappa. One of my academic achievements in math includes the 2025 Math Senior Project Award at Whitman College.

Experience

I have assisted friends and relatives with understanding their math assignments.

Approach

Throughout my education in mathematics, it was never enough for me to know that a certain mathematical rule or property worked; I had to understand why it worked. I understand that math can seem like a memorization game for many students, so as a tutor, my goal is be to give students some intuition on why math works the way it does so that the methods and formulas we use don't seem so unfounded.
