Fun Facts

I am the oldest of three siblings and a proud first-generation college student. I have participated in various community service events and take great satisfaction in tutoring subjects I feel confident in to guide and support others in their learning. I’m passionate about helping others succeed, whether they are fellow students or members of the community. In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer and/or volleyball, and I am interested in learning how to fish or play golf.

About Me

I am entering my senior year of college at Hamline University. I'm majoring in marketing with a minor in digital media arts. I plan to get an associate's degree in education and continue my graduate education in business administration.

Experience

I have tutored 1st grade in reading for community service, and fell deeper in love with helping others grow. I continued tutoring back in my sophomore year officially as a private tutor.

Approach

As the oldest, I was always helping my siblings with their homework and studies, and I even had to help my parents with literacy and grammar. And I had to learn what works for them, to help them grasp what I was explaining or showing them, and it taught me a lot of patience, understanding and compassion when working with students because not everyone is the same, and neither is their learning style.
