A fun fact about me is that I love all sports. I love playing and I love watching! I love to have an active lifestyle and believe that it helps balance out education.

About Me

I am currently a sophomore in college at the University of Michigan, pursuing degrees in both science and Spanish. I am a born and raised Phoenician with years of tutoring experience. Furthermore, I have an extremely flexible schedule currently, however, I will be returning to Michigan in August for the fall semester, so I am only available for summer tutoring. I would be thrilled to help any student get caught up this summer in concepts that they struggle with or need some clarification on.

Experience

I have had a multitude of tutoring experiences through both high school and college. More prominently, I have spent the past year at Michigan tutoring students in the entry-level Chemistry course. This included meetings with two separate study groups of about 13 students per week, for two hours. Additional meeting times would be offered before exams. While I have some experience in tutoring, I mostly tutor other college students, meaning that my approach for the 4th-grade learner will be different. At Michigan, we largely focus on allowing the students to work together in groups before seeking my help. While this tutoring, I believe, will largely be 1:1, I can use the same approach of using leading questions to help the students find answers on their own.
