Fun Facts

One fun fact about me is that I love Art! When I get free time, I have a passion to create or build something from my imagination. Any form of art that includes painting, drawing, gardening and crafts is my favorite.

About Me

I am a Junior at Fresno State, although it will be my first year, I consider myself to be prepared in academics and have a passion for learning. I attended Fresno City College for my freshman and sophomore years in college and received a CSU-GE Breadth certificate, and was able to apply to Fresno State without an associate’s degree.

Experience

While I may not have direct experience with tutoring, I have younger siblings and cousins whom I help with homework daily. This experience ranges from 2nd Grade to high school. I consider this my experience because I know the current educational goals and new strategies that are being taught.

Approach

As a child, math did not come easily to me; my strong skills were writing and reading. I had to apply myself in math by asking my teacher questions, attending after-school help with homework and eventually I learned that is what learning is all about! If we don’t ask questions or apply ourselves, how do we expect to understand something new?
