Fun Facts

I have two older sisters who work as nurses, while my younger brother is at West Point. Some of my hobbies consist of writing (I enjoy journaling and writing poetry in my free time), as well as drawing (I draw some pieces based on cartoons, but I also challenge myself by drawing animals and plants seen in real life).

About Me

I am a 22-year-old young lady who graduated from Seattle University's College of Nursing in 2024. I have been on the Dean's List in Winter of 2021, Winter of 2022, and Winter of 2024. I have also been on the President's List during Fall 2021.

Experience

I have had some clinical experience in college that involved therapeutic communication with patients (and I did help my preceptor now and then in educating patients in behavioral therapy sessions), and some of my certifications include Basic Life Support and CPR (expiring in July but renewing on Saturday). I have had some prior volunteer opportunities in areas that involve providing care, customer service, and interacting with and teaching children.

Approach

I have struggled a little with learning now and then, and the support my teachers have given me through the years (especially in college) has inspired me to learn more about myself and what I want to do to contribute to society in my way. I know that I do want to establish a professional relationship with those I work with to see what their needs are and how they could be met to achieve specific milestones in learning. It enables a sense of care, as well as responsibility and efficiency.
