Some things I love to do in my free time are read, paint, and spend time outdoors. I enjoy spending time with my family and going on adventures. I repaint my house at least once a year and love doing DIY projects, even though they do not always turn out right!

About Me

I am currently pursuing my Master's in Elementary Education. I have always had a love for learning and a passion to help others fall in love with learning, too. My goal is to be an Elementary Teacher in my small hometown.

Experience

I have been a tutor for 8 years. I have worked with students 1-on-1, in small groups, and in whole-class settings. I have experience tutoring in Math, ELA, Science, Social Studies, and Homework Assistance. My students range from Kindergarten through college-level Math. I have worked with students in the general education classroom and education/oregon/portland">special education.

Approach

Everyone has a different style of learning. It is my goal as a tutor to find what works best for each student to help them reach their maximum potential. I strive to make my lessons fun and engaging for all students.
