About Me

Hi! I’m a sophomore double major in biology and political science on the pre-law track from Texas, and I’m very excited to share my experiences with others. I attend Spelman College, and plan to get my PhD in Neuroscience after I receive my Bachelor's!

Experience

I've been a tutor with Schoolhouse. World for 2-3 years now, and I love it. I volunteer with them to tutor the reading section of the SAT and have hosted my workshops there for subjects like debate or AP Biology as well. I took 9 APs in high school and received 4's on all of them, including AP Biology, AP US History, and both AP English courses. I have a deep passion for learning and teaching!

Approach

As a tutor, I do my best to work with you at your pace. I'll check in with you frequently to make sure you're fully understanding the material, and we'll do a lot of hands-on learning. I've never been a fan of the lecture-only style of teaching, so I try not to keep my learners too long without giving them an activity or problem to think over. I'm looking forward to working with you!
