Fun Facts

A fun fact about me is that I love horseback riding, and I also enjoy show jumping! Another fun fact about me is that I used to run cross country and track, but now I just run for fun:)

About Me

I am a student at Saint Mary’s College of California with a major in Psychology and a minor in Kinesiology. After I graduate, I would love to become a child life specialist.

Experience

Over the previous summers, I worked as a horse camp counselor, and I also did babysitting for a while. Which allowed me to help further individuals' studies because often times they brought back homework or projects they needed help with. Most of the time, the kids I babysat for brought back art projects, or they needed help with writing comprehension. I love helping others to understand certain material, such as reading and writing.

Approach

In middle school and high school, I struggled significantly with certain subjects, including math, science, and writing. However, as time went on, I began to develop a passion for writing, using it as an outlet to release the thoughts that had been building up. Although math and science don’t come as easily to me, writing began to be one of my best passions because writing allows you to express yourself and create stories.
