Fun Facts
Something Arizona has given me the chance to do is accomplish many hikes! I love to be outdoors and explore new places throughout Arizona.
About Me
Originally from California, I now live in Arizona as I am currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Dietetics and Nutritional Science at GCU. While obtaining my master's degree, I am working as an Anatomy and Physiology Lab professor on campus at GCU. I also enjoy babysitting in my free time. It's where I get to establish personable relationships with families throughout the valley and see the growth and development of so many little ones.
Experience
During my undergraduate years, I worked at Phoenix Children's Hospital as a Patient Care Technician, where I got to learn how to interact and establish connections with children of all ages and disease states. A lot of children who were in the hospital had been there for so long that they stopped going to school. I would practice reading, show them how to write their name, teach them their colors and even practice simple math.
Approach
As a first-generation daughter, my education and studies have always been a priority. I had the support of parents who cared, although they were never able to physically help me or show me how to be a student, as neither of them finished school themselves. My goal as a professional professor and tutor is to be that support and guide to students who may not have it at home.
