I have competed for the US University National Powerlifting team in Istanbul, Turkey.

About Me

I am a Senior majoring in Exercise Science at GCU. I work part-time as a Physical Therapist Technician. I am originally from WA state, and some things I love are books, swimming, and lifting heavy weights. I was a lifeguard in my first job, and I also served as a lead lifeguard before entering the Exercise Science field. I love teaching people, whether it's reading, math, or physical skills such as swimming or learning how to play the trombone.

Experience

I have taught reading to kindergartners while I was in High School. I have also helped my friend by tutoring her in college algebra, as well as learning others' trombone skills and how to swim.

Approach

As a child, I struggled a lot with pronunciation. I had to do the group reading lessons provided in school to gain confidence in reading and speaking correctly.
