Fun Facts

I've been learning music since I was one, and now I record and produce music. I'm a big fan of funk and soul.
My sister also made me say that I have a twin sister.

About Me

I am a Sophomore Audio Engineering Technology major at Belmont University with minors in Music Business and Mathematics.

Experience

I got a 36 on the ACT for math and helped family and friends with their math classes.

Approach

Perhaps it is because I come from a generation with math influencers on YouTube, but I believe that every concept can be understood through the right reasoning, the right “why?” that naturally leads to discovering further applications.

College Algebra Tutoring

At the basis of practically every math course is algebra, and all the homework I've had in advanced math courses taught me to be quite tricky with algebraic manipulation.

Pre Calculus Tutoring

I took Pre-Calculus during the summer between my freshman and sophomore years of high school. It was a rapidly accelerated course, so I had to do a lot more self-teaching compared to a normal course, which I'd argue puts me in a strong position to, in turn, teach others.

Calculus I Tutoring

See my qualifications for any other calculus, and I hope that may convince you of my qualifications for teaching the earlier concepts.

Calculus 2 Tutoring

I took AP Calc BC as a Sophomore in High School and still keep my skills up to date by messing around with integrals in my free time. My AP Calc BC Score was a 4 with a subscore of 5.

Calculus 3 Tutoring

I took Calculus 3 as a Senior in High School and have spent a significant amount of time since then going back over my notes as I digitized them.

Math Tutoring

I excelled at Discrete Mathematics to the point that my professor strongly suggested I consider a major in mathematics.

Pre Algebra Tutoring

When I switched schools, I ended up taking versions of pre-algebra multiple times, meaning I've been exposed to many approaches to teaching this subject.

Algebra Tutoring

At the basis of practically every math course is algebra, and all the homework I've had in advanced math courses taught me to be quite tricky with algebraic manipulation.

Algebra II Tutoring

Algebra 2, though I understood it, felt like it was just throwing a lot of unrelated concepts at me. I have spent a decent amount of time in the years following the class to understand the exact motivations behind all of the concepts taught, and I believe I am now in a good position to help more practical-minded students grasp the subject.

Calculus AP Tutoring

I took AP Calc BC as a Sophomore in High School and still keep my skills up to date by messing around with integrals in my free time. My AP Calc BC Score was a 4 with a subscore of 5.

Geometry Tutoring

My multivariable calculus teacher had a special interest in geometry, so I've been acquainted and reacquainted with many concepts of geometry. Additionally, I have taken Discrete Mathematics, which is essentially strictly mathematical proofs: the concept most frustrating in the course.

Math Advance Tutoring

As a High School student, I have taken through multivariable calculus (Calc 3), so I'd like to think I have a pretty good hold on what advanced high-school math courses are like.

Trigonometry Tutoring

As someone studying Audio Engineering Technology, I have a special interest in being trigonometrically sharp, and thus, I frequently work on problems containing trigonometric and other periodic functions.

AP Statistics Tutoring

I took AP Statistics from a teacher who was really good at teaching exactly what we needed to know to do well on the test. I received a 5 on the AP test.
