Fun Facts

I was never a student who could hear something once and never have to study. I maintained a 3.25 GPA throughout college, and it took work! I originally didn’t go to school to be a teacher, but after substituting at my son’s school, I was hooked and decided to pursue a degree in education.

About Me

I have been a classroom teacher for 17 years, focusing on business and computer subjects. I am also fully certified in all education/pennsylvania/pittsburgh">Special Education areas, which helps me to reach learners of all levels. I previously worked as a tutor when my sons were in middle and high school, and now that they are grown, I am looking to get started back and connect with students from different areas and dynamics. The approach I follow with my tutoring is to support, collaborate and engage.

I am experienced in teaching accounting, financial literacy, digital learning, digital safety, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint Point and Publishing, webpage design and business computer applications.
