Fun Facts
I love animals, art history, and the outdoors! You can also catch me drawing, playing video games, and learning random facts from Wikipedia. I do, unfortunately, pour milk before cereal.
About Me
I am a sophomore Civil Engineering major at Columbia University. I recently transferred from Emory University, where I was an Applied Math & Stats major. I'm excited to experience NYC!
Experience
As a part of my college's Physics Club, I've helped classmates with their math and physics homework. I've also assisted students with SAT prep and college essay writing, as well as Spanish and Chinese work. I have previous experience tutoring elementary-aged kids in math and reading, and am excited to branch out to other grade levels and subject areas!
Approach
A patient, friendly, and individualized approach to tutoring is my goal as a tutor. I look to connect with students so that tutoring isn't an intimidating experience, and to support the idea that they have all the tools to be self-sufficient. Through my support, I hope to instil confidence in students and to connect their education to the world around them.
