Fun Facts
I love sharing funny moments with my students, whether it’s a chemistry pun that makes them groan or a lab demo that almost looks like magic. Laughter is one of the best catalysts for learning, and my classroom is full of both reactions and reactions. I believe humor is the secret ingredient in science education. Whether it’s turning mishaps into learning moments or laughing over molecule puns, my students and I always find joy in the journey. I believe humor is the secret ingredient in science
About Me
Hello! I’m Prabhjot Kaur, a passionate chemistry graduate with a B.Sc and M.Sc in Chemistry (Honours) from Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), Punjab. Over the past 5+ years of academic study and hands-on research, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the power of chemistry to solve real-world problems—and the joy of sharing that knowledge with others.
My most recent research project focused on “Biomineralized Core Shell Polymeric Hydrogel Beads for Controlled Fertilizer Release and Moisture Retention under Adverse Weather Conditions”—a fascinating intersection of polymer chemistry, sustainability, and agricultural innovation. This experience sparked a strong interest in further exploring the diverse domains within chemistry and their practical applications.
Beyond the lab, I’m deeply passionate about STEM education. I believe in making science relatable, engaging, and fun—whether it’s through hands-on learning, inquiry-based teaching, or the occasional chemistry pun in class.

Approach
As a science tutor, I believe building a friendly and supportive bond with my students is key to creating a comfortable learning environment where they feel encouraged to ask questions and explore ideas. I connect science lessons to real-world issues—like climate change, health, and technology- so that students see how science impacts their everyday lives and the world around them. This approach not only makes learning more meaningful but also inspires curiosity and critical thinking.
